The International research and practise conference “Russia-Germany: modern aspects of nursing care and rehabilitation of the sick (native and foreign practice)” was held in KSMU

On the 22nd of March 2016 in State budget educational establishment of higher professional education “Kursk state medical university” of the Ministry of public health of the Russian Federation was held International research and practise conference “Russia-Germany: modern aspects of nursing care and rehabilitation of the sick (native and foreign practice)” organized together with the Administration’s committee of Kursk region at development of external relations and the public health service Committee of Kursk region.

The members of the Germany’s delegation on their visit to Kursk region (Gerling Kubats — the head of the neurological rehabilitation and care center of Leipzig Saxon clinic “Bad Lausick” (group of “Michels Kliniken” clinics) and Renata Kintop — the deputy administrator of the rehabilitation center of the same clinic), shared the modern approaches to patients’ rehabilitation in Germany clinics using as an example the work of Leipzig Saxon clinic “Bad Lausick” rehabilitation center.

Moreover at the conference there were listened to and discussed reports reflecting national and international experience, condition and perspectives of science and nursing care practice development and neurological patients’ rehabilitation.

On the base of the interactive training laboratory of KSMU training simulation center there was held an academic symposium “Innovative Learning Technologies of Mastering Practical Medical Nursing Care Skills”. The German guests were much interested in the ability of development of students’ skills in medical treatment at prehospital stage in the context of simulation events with the use of the model of ambulance car class C “Reanimobile”. In the role of “patient” there was the patient’s robot in the reanimation ward which imitated practically all human physiological functions both in normal condition and with different pathologies: artificial intellect, respiration, blood circulation, motion of the gastro-intestinal tract and so on.

With the representatives of the Germany’s delegation there were also discussed the concrete tendencies of further international collaboration between KSMU and “Michels Kliniken” in the sphere of holding common scientific investigations, Internet-videoconferences and also organization of work experiences for teachers and practical works for students.
