On the 12th of January 2017 a ceremonial meeting devoted to the 36th graduation of foreign students, specialty “Medicine” took place. 91 students 8 countries (Malaysia, Sri-Lanka, India, Brazil, Nigeria, Zambia, Thailand, Germany) got the diplomas of a physician. 3 graduates got diplomas with honors.
The celebration was visited by the Rector of Kursk State Medical University, honored Physician of Russian Federation, deputy of Kursk Regional Duma, professor V.A. Lazarenko, Deputy-Governor of Kursk region V.V. Proskurin, Chairman of Kursk Regional Duma, professor N.I. Suslikova, deputy-chairman of Administration’s Committee of the Development of External Relations S.A. Dorosh, vice-rector for educational activities and general issues professor P.V. Tkachenko, vice-rector for educate work, social development and public relations associate professor T.A. Shulgina, dean of the International Faculty professor Yu.D. Rector of KSMU professor V.A. Lazarenko congratulated graduates on getting the diplomas of physicians and wished them to be responsible doctors, to love their patients, to study medicine throughout the life. Addressing to the graduates Deputy-Governor of Kursk Region V.V. Proskurin told the participants of the meeting about the support by Administration to the international activity of the medical university. He wished the young physicians to be worthy of the title of a KSMU graduate. Chairman of Kursk Regional Duma professor N.I. Zherebilov greeted the graduates with getting of the diplomas of physicians and wished them to be successful in Motherland.
The Graduates addressing to their teachers, students, parents remembered interesting moments of their student life, spoke warmly about university, their teachers and promised to remember always their Alma Mater.
