Foreign Students have Visited Kursk Regional Picture Gallery Named after A.A. Deineka

On March 3, 2017 at the exposition hall of the Kursk regional picture gallery named after A.A. Deineka there took place an opening of the exhibition of works by Vasily Ivanovich Yerofeyev – painter, People’s Artist of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, professor of the Kursk state university department of Painting, Honorary worker of higher professional education, multiple holder of diplomas and medals of the Artists’ Union of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, awarded the medal “For Distinguished Labour”.

The foreign students of KSMU living in the hostels № 4, 5, 6 visited the exhibition of the works by V.I. Yerofeyev from the 3rd to 5th of March, 2017.

About 20 works by V.I. Yerofeyev from the collection of the Kursk regional picture gallery named after A.A. Deineka were presented at the exposition.

The students embraced the creation of the painter with a keen interest. They particularly enjoyed the paintings featuring Russian women: “Kursk beauties”, “The Evening”, “Saving the Harvest”, “The Return of Ivan”, etc.

The visit of the exposition left plenty of pleasant impressions on the students. The foreign students expressed a wish to visit new exhibitions of the picture gallery.
