On May 13, 2017 a concert dedicated to the cultural day of Malaysia took place in Kursk state medical university.
Present at the event were: the head of MARA department under the jurisdiction of the Embassy of Malaysia Mr Syed Saifuddin Bin Syed Ahmad, the Rectorate Advisor Chahine M.T., the head of the Administration for international relations Yu.Sh. Iobidze, the vice-deans of the international faculty, the employees of the Administration for international relations, teachers and students of KSMU.
As part of the concert program foreign students showed their skills in performing of folk and modern dance and songs. Vivid and various performances provided insight into the traditions and culture of Malaysia. It is worth noting that the audience could enjoy items performed by the international faculty students representing not only Malaysia, but also Nigeria, Sri Lanka, India, and Brazil, which yet again emphasized the importance of promotion of cultural ties between countries.
The audience enjoyed the variety of bright and colorful performances, giving a perspective of Malaysian traditions and culture.
The concert was opened with a runway show of the national costumes reflecting the ethnic variety of Malaysia and uniqueness of each nation. Of special interest for everyone was the colorful scenery made by talented Malaysian students.
The holiday passed in one breath thanks to the efforts of the students, and the university once again proved to be an international educational and cultural center, foreign students have an opportunity to implement their creative abilities.
