The XVII Interregional Global Wholesale and Retail «Kursk Korenskaya Fair– 2017» and the VI Mid-Russian Economic Forum took place from June 15 to 18, 2017 in the small town Svoboda of the Zolotukhinsky district, the Kursk region.
Every year the principal participants in these events are the representatives of the diplomatic missions of the near and far-abroad countries in the Russian Federation, of international organizations and over 30 regions of Russia.
Thematic exhibition pavilions and trading platforms were disposed in the territory of the small town Svoboda, the event was attended by many guests – representatives of authorities, business, community and clergy.
Kursk state medical university is a permanent participant of the fare and forum, and it was represented by the Rector, Honored Physician of the Russian Federation, Deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma, Professor V.A. Lazarenko, who was awarded a laureate diploma of the Kursk Korenskaya Fair and a letter of thanks from the Kursk region administration and Press agency “АК&M” for active involvement in the work of the platform «The role of the youth in the digital economy».
Headed by the rector professor V.A. Lazarenko the team of the employees and foreign students in national costumes presented an exposition about the work of our university.
The Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Kursk M.T. Chahine also presented a platform where tasting of Sri Lankan tea was held.
Kursk Korenskaya Fair is a place where one can see the achievements of foreign countries and Russian regions, show capabilities to the prospective partners, and enter into long-term business relationships.
