On the 24th of October, 2017 Kursk state medical university was visited by the delegation of Germany consisting of the chief of Meiningen educational establishment Sabina Gro, Meiningen burgomaster Fabian Hister, the chief of Schleusingen rehabilitation center “Thuringian Forest” Kai Michaelis and the member of board Claus Schpitz.
During the visit the delegation of Germany took part in the meeting with the university’s administration in KSMU conference-hall. The vice-rector for continuous education and international cooperation professor I.G. Komissinskaya, the vice-rector for educational work, social development and public relations associate professor T.A. Shulgina, the dean of the international faculty Yu. D. Lyashev, the Honorary Consul of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Kursk, the Rectorate advisor M.T. Chahine and the head of the administration for international relations Yu. Sh. Iobidze also participated in the meeting.
There were discussed questions of establishment of cooperation in the sphere of academic exchange of students, development and realization of joint scientific and educational programmes.
During the visit the delegation visited the laboratory of interactive training of the center of accreditation and simulation education where the guests were acquainted with the possibilities of gradual healthcare delivery: from prehospital stage on down to reanimation ward.
As the result of the meeting the Parties agreed on concluding the international cooperation agreement.
