Interethnic Women’s Dialogue

An organizational meeting of the working group of the project «Interethnic Women’s Dialogue» took place on January 15, 2018, with such participants as the students of the Kursk state medical university from Nigeria, Sri Lanka and Malaysia, the Association of Ukraine «Seim», the Community of Moldovans, the Society of Polish culture, the Jewish women’s organization «Project Kesher», the Union of Armenians of Russia, the Azerbaijani Congress, the Community of Dagestan.

The meeting was hosted by Agapova Irina Anatolyevna, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of the Kursk regional branch of the International non-profit organization «Russian Peace Fund», Director of the Child Peace Center, member of the Public chamber of Kursk region, member of the regional headquarters of the All-Russia People’s Front, assistant to the Deputy of the Kursk regional Duma.

The project «Interethnic Women’s Dialogue» is aimed at uniting women of different national organizations and communities for joint activities through creation of Centers for women’s cross-national interaction. The activity of the centers provides collaboration with more than 40 different national communities and organizations in 9 cities of Russia for joint actions aimed at the development of mutual understanding, recognition of each other’s traditions and customs, enhancement of a woman’s role in the modern society, strengthening of the institution of family, formation of healthy lifestyle with due regard to the national peculiarities.
