Various ethnocultural events are regularly held at Kursk state medical university to introduce cultures and traditions to the native and foreign students.
On the 21st of April, 2018 a concert dedicated to the Sri Lankan culture took place at Kursk state medical university.
Present at the event were: the head of the Administration for international relations Yu.Sh. Iobidze, the vice-deans of the International Faculty, the officers of the Administration for international relations.
Sri Lankan students impressed the guests of the concert with decorations made with their own hands in the form of the royal palace «Yapahuwa», the beauty and variety of costumes, magnificent performance of national dances and songs.
The head of the Administration for international relations Yu.Sh. Iobidze addressed the audience with a word of salutation, emphasizing the multinationality of Kursk state medical university and thanking the community of KSMU Sri Lankan students for organizing such a wonderful concert.
Concerts dedicated to the national cultures of different countries enrich the students of our university with knowledge of customs, traditions, and cultures of different nations, develop a sense of tolerance and aesthetic taste, cultural and spiritual values.
