On October 13, 2018 the concert dedicated to the celebration of Indian religious holiday “Navaratri” took place at Kursk state medical university.

The event was organized at the initiative of the Administration for international relations and the community of Indian students.

Foreign students from India gathered together to worship their Gods. They chanted mantras, sang folk songs and performed folk dances.

Carrying concerts dedicated to national and religious holidays is a part of the program aimed to the successful adaptation of foreign students to the new environment. It also helps in cultivation of tolerant attitude towards the representatives of different religious denominations, studying at Kursk state medical university.
