THE MEETING OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS WITH THE FOREIGN STUDENTS

The Administration for International Relations regularly holds meetings of the foreign citizens with the law enforcement officials of the city and region in order to form the basics of legal knowledge, prevent the wrongdoings that could be committed by foreign students.

On November 08, 2018 the meeting of the representatives of the law enforcement authorities of Kursk and Kursk region with the foreign students of KSMU took place in the auditorium of the pharm building.

The meeting was attended by the head of the department of licensing and visa work of the Migration Directorate in the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region – S.V. Gridneva, criminal investigator of the Centre for Combating Extremism in the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region – N.N. Matyukhina, the head of the department №2 of the Migration Directorate in the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region – O.V. Azarova, major case lead investigator of the Federal Drug Control Service in the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region – O.A. Lobova, the rectorate assistant for security A.I. Saltanov; the rectorate advisor, Honorary Consul of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Kursk — Chahine Mohamad Tufik; the head of the Administration for International Relations Yu.Sh. Iobidze; the head of the basic safety, civil defense and emergency department of KSMU Yu.P. Avdeyev; the staff members of the Administration for International Relations.

The meeting was presided over by the head of the Administration for International Relations Yu.Sh. Iobidze. At the meeting the head of the department of licensing and visa work of the Migration Directorate in the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region – S.V. Gridneva gave a speech on the requirements of the migration legislation. The head of the department №2 of the Migration Directorate in the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region – O.V. Azarova told the foreign students about the administrative violations in the field of migration. The rectorate assistant for security A.I. Saltanov informed the students about the rules of private and public safety. The criminal investigator of the Centre for Combating Extremism in the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region – N.N. Matyukhina gave a speech on the impermissibility of carrying out extremist activity, manifestations of nationalism and xenophobia in the territory of the Russian Federation. Major case lead investigator of the Federal Drug Control Service in the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kursk region – O.A. Lobova informed the students about the impermissibility of consuming drugs and the issues connected with the illegal drug trafficking.

The representatives of the law enforcement authorities called the foreign students to observe strictly the Russian legislation, the requirements of the university local acts, to follow the recommendations of the law enforcement officials.

Such meetings help foreign students of KSMU to observe the Russian legislation and also provide their safety, making them more disciplined.
