FOREIGN STUDENTS OF KSMU VISITED KURSK DRAMATIC THEATER NAMED AFTER A.S. PUSHKIN

On the eve of the New Year the rector of Kursk state medical university, honored physician of the Russian Federation, deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor V.A. Lazarenko invited foreign students of KSMU to Kursk Dramatic Theater named after A.S. Pushkin to watch the retro comedy «Someone else’s Child» based on the play of the soviet playwriter Vasily Shkvarkin.

Written in 1930s, the play «Someone else’s Child» was widely sought after, it was put on in many Russian theaters, and the main idea of the piece continues to be relevant up to now.

In the first winter month the play put the audience in summer. The story is set in the country near Moscow. Bright    theatrical scenery, birchwood – the atmosphere of lightness and carelessness, trust in a better future.

The play «Someone else’s Child» touched the feelings of the foreign students. The audience worried of the loving couple’s fate.

When the play was over, foreign students thanked the rector of KSMU, Professor V.A. Lazarenko for this wonderful New Year’s gift.
