On April 13, 2019 the concert, dedicated to Sri Lankan national culture, took place in Kursk state medical university.
The event was attended by First Secretary of Sri Lankan Embassy in Russia — Mr. Dulmith Waruna, the rectorate advisor, Honorary Consul of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Kursk — Chahine Mohamad Tufik, the head of the Administration for International Relations — Yu.Sh. Iobidze; the acting dean of the international faculty, associate professor – E.V. Antopolskaya; the vice deans of the international faculty, the staff members of the Administration for International Relations, students and teachers of KSMU.
Traditionally, the concert was opened with the national Sri Lankan dances, captivating of the beauty, brightness and jingle of the costumes.
The concert program included the international performances played together by students from Brazil, Malaysia, India and Nigeria.
After the event everyone interested made photos against the extraordinary decorations, which had been made with the own hands of the Sri Lankan students.
