🏛 International students from various countries and faculty members of the International Medical Institute at KSMU visited the exhibition “Old Kursk in the Watercolors of Artist I.I. Likorenko.”
31st March 2025

🖼 The exhibition featured 55 watercolors depicting views of the city, including churches and chapels, gymnasiums and schools, factories, hotels, rental and residential houses, markets and shops, theaters, parks, and triumphal arches, many of which have been completely or partially lost in modern times. Additionally, in the building of the local history museum, students saw antique items that were used in Kursk over 100 years ago, allowing them to immerse themselves even deeper in the atmosphere of that time.

✨ The students examined the details of each watercolor with great interest, realizing how much Kursk has changed since the late 19th to early 20th century. The students took photographs, & admired the fact that they learned about the history of the city they study in.
