FOREIGN STUDENT SELF-GOVERNANCE DEVELOPMENT
29th December 2020

Over a period of 30 years the communities of foreign students of Kursk State Medical University from India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Brazil and Thailand have been actively working to develop a student self-governance system.

On December 26, 2020 as part of the regular meeting of KSMU foreign student active core the staff of the International Medical Institute together with the active community of Indian students conducted an additional Pre-New Year briefing on measures aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19, fire safety rules, safety in emergencies and abidance by traffic regulations, non-allowability of attending water basins and other potentially dangerous places, compliance with the accommodation rules in apartments.

One of the main issues of the meeting was the election of a new leader of KSMU Indian students. The 5th year student of the International Medical Institute Patel Hevinkumar Bharatbhai has been elected.

From one year to the next, the active community of foreign students – senior students – share experience with the younger generation of students, assist the university administration in organization of national culture evenings, concerts, meetings, excursions, sports events, etc.
