Kursk State Medical University entered the new comprehensive ranking of the Times Higher Education (THE) magazine, having taken:
- first place in the region;
- seventh place among medical universities in Russia.
KSMU took part in 5 nominations out of 17: “Fighting Poverty”, “Good Health and Well-being”, “Partnership for Sustainable Development”, “Quality Education”, “Gender Equality”.
The Times Higher Education Impact Ranking is the only global performance ranking that evaluates universities in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. THE uses carefully calibrated metrics to provide a comprehensive and balanced comparison of universities across four broad areas: research, leadership, outreach activity and teaching.
The 2021 Impact Ranking is the third in a row, but already includes 1,115 universities from 94 countries.
