KURSK WILL HOST THE SEVENTH STAGE OF THE RUSSIAN-WIDE HACKATHON “DIGITAL BREAKTHROUGH-2021”

From October 22 to October 24, the seventh stage of the Russian-wide hackathon “Digital Breakthrough-2021” in the direction of “Transport and Logistics” will be held in Kursk, on the basis of the “Boiling Point” of the Southern State University at the address Kursk, Chelyuskintsev St., 19, (academic building No. 2, first floor).

The Digital Breakthrough hackathon will be held in a hybrid format, at the site of the Kursk IT hub, teams of developers will gather, no more than 20 people with valid QR codes that confirm receipt of the second component of the vaccine or a single-component vaccine registered in the Russian Federation, the rest will participate online.

The main topics of the hackathon are logistics and transport, the use of artificial intelligence technologies in route optimization and decision-making in the transport system, as well as online warehouse management.

The hackathon starts on October 22 at 17.00 with the grand opening and the provision of cases for solutions from the largest companies and organizations of the country, including Rostelecom, Rosatom, Sheremetyevo International Airport, Transport Innovations of Moscow. During 48 hours of continuous work on the site, teams of participants will work on solving cases and, as a result, must develop a digital product.

On October 24, from 12.00 to 16.00, streaming defenses will be held, where teams will present their solutions to an expert jury in an online format. Summing up and awarding ceremony of the winners will take place on the same day from 16.00 to 18.00 at the “Boiling point” of the Southern State University.

In the Kursk IT hub, participants will be provided with uninterrupted Internet, round-the-clock access to infrastructure, and food. The winners of the hackathon will have the opportunity to implement their digital solution in one of the Russian companies.
