Kursk State Medical University is actively developing international cooperation with foreign educational and medical organizations.
On December 16, 2021, the Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of the University of Sri Jayawardenepura of the Republic of Sri Lanka, Professor Patmanal M. Manage paid a visit to KSMU.
During the visit, a meeting was held with the Vice-Rector for Educational Activity and General Affairs, Associate Professor V.P. Gavrilyuk, Vice-Rector for Medical Activity and Continuing Education – Director of the Institute of Continuing Education, Associate Professor N.S. Meshcherina, Director of the International Medical Institute, Associate Professor M.T. Chahine. During the meeting, issues of mutually beneficial cooperation in the development of science and medical technologies, cultural and educational exchanges, joint scientific events were discussed.
The delegation was especially interested in visiting the research institutes of KSMU under the leadership of the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovative Development, Professor V.A. Lipatov. Also, the guests attened the Anatomical Theater and Museum of History of KSMU.
Moreover, an agreement was reached on signing a memorandum of cooperation in the field of joint research and academic mobility.
