On the eve of the New Year holidays, on December 24, 2021, a truly fabulous event took place in the new park located in the courtyard of Kursk State Medical University – the Rector’s Christmas Tree – 2022!
Despite the frosty day, the students of the International Medical Institute, who recently arrived at our university to study, gathered under the tree all together.
The event was attended by: Rector of KSMU Professor V.A. Lazarenko, vice-rector for educational work, social development and public relations associate professor A.A. Kuznetsova, director of the International Medical Institute, associate professor M.T. Shekhine, staff and academic staff of the university.
Viktor Anatolyevich wished everyone a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas, wished everyone good mood, successful exams and good health!
But, truly, the main participants in the event were, of course, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden! The Old Year came to celebrate the symbol of 2021, which was the Bull, and to meet with us the coming year – the year of a Tiger.
There were jokes, riddles, charades, dances, hot tea … Those things kept the students warm this evening. And most importantly, far from home, students could feel like one big friendly family – the family of KSMU.
