On December 25, 2021, at the university lecture hall No. 5, a test exam was held to confirm the qualifications of a general practitioner, which must be passed in India to all graduates of foreign higher educational institutions involved in training specialists in the field of medicine in the specialty “general medicine”. Such training exams are organized twice a year: in preclinical disciplines for students who have completed the program of the first three years and in all disciplines of the educational program – for students of the 6th year.
The event was organized by the Association of Indian Students of the International Medical Institute together with the IMI Education Department. In her speech, Deputy Head of the Education Department of IMI Goryainova G.N. greeted the participants of the exam, wished everyone good results and noted the achievements of the leaders of the Association of Indian Students in preparing the event: Patel Hevinkumar Bharatbhai, Kumar Gaurav, Venkatesh Rudja, Santoshkumar Sriramkumar. The leader of Indian students thanked the Administration of IMI KSMU for assistance in organizing an educational event for Indian students and urged Indian students to continue their preparation for the qualification exam with enthusiasm.
26 senior students received a test consisting of 300 questions from the number of test items presented on the official website of the Ministry of Health of India. The administration of KSMU and IMI wishes all the participants of the training exam success in confirming their diplomas in their homeland.
