“YOUTH. SCIENCE. INNOVATION – 2021″ FORUM

On November 24-25, the regional “Youth. Science. Innovation – 2021″ Forum was held.

“Youth. Science. Innovation” is an event that has been held annually since 2007 and is the central event for the presentation of youth research projects. The forum is held with the aim of forming a positive image of national science, involving young scientists in the process of implementing research and development in priority areas. On November 24, one of the forum sites – “The Legend Busters” was held at Kursk State Medical University. The participants presented a brief overview of the trends in modern science, its achievements and failures. Together with the guests, they discussed the latest scientific discoveries, disclosures of known facts and the dangers that may threaten humanity. Within the framework of the site, the quiz “Lie to me the truth” took place. The authors of the reports that aroused the greatest interest were awarded with diplomas.

During the closing ceremony, the winners of the regional competitions “Student Science – 2021” and “Young Scientist of the Year – 2021” were awarded. This year, the junior researcher of the Research Institute of General Pathology, postgraduate student of KSMU Vorvul Anton Olegovich became the laureate of the competition “Young Scientist of the Year-2021” in the natural sciences nomination.

The winner of the competition “Student Science – 2021” was a 6th-year student of the 6th group of the medical faculty Dragovoz Ivan Sergeevich.
