REGIONAL STAGE OF THE ALL-RUSSIAN OLYMPIAD IN CHEMISTRY FOR SCHOOLCHILDREN

Every year our university traditionally hosts participants in the regional stage of the All-Russian Chemistry Olympiad for schoolchildren.

The All-Russian School Olympiad (ASO) is a system of annual subject Olympiads for pupils of state, municipal and non-state educational organizations that implement general education programs. The main goals and objectives of the Olympiad are: the identification and development of student creative abilities and interest in research activity; creating the necessary conditions to support gifted children; promotion of scientific knowledge; maintaining a unified chemical educational space in Russia; development of extracurricular activities. The Olympiad performs teaching, developmental and educational functions. Winners and prize-winners of the final stage of the Olympiad without entrance examinations are accepted to state and municipal educational institutions of higher professional education in accordance with the profile of the Olympiad[

The regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren is attended by pupils of grades 9-11 of educational organizations, who have become winners and prize-winners of the previous municipal stage. On January 18-19, more than 80 students of grades 9-11 of educational institutions of the Kursk region will gather at our university.
