ALL-RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION ON SUPPORT OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

On December 2, 2021, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “Interdepartmental Interaction on Support of Inclusive Education, Career Guidance and Employment of People with Disabilities and Health Limitations in the Healthcare System” was held at KSMU in a remote format, organized by the Department of Social Work and Life Safety, Social Center and employment center for graduates. The Vice-Rector for Research Work and Innovative Development of KSMU, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Vyacheslav Aleksandrovich Lipatov made a welcoming speech.

Key topics of the conference were identified in the main reports at the plenary session. The main problems of inclusive education and ways to solve them were covered in the report presented by the head of the Department of Social Work and Life Safety, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Tatiana Alekseevna Shulgina.

Head of the resource educational and methodological center for training people with disabilities and health limitations of FSBEI HE Ryazan State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Dmitry Nikolayevich Oskin spoke about the issues related to solving the difficulties of inclusive medical education through the industrial REMC, the Vice-Rector for Educational Work of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education Tver State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Irina Yurievna Kolesnikova shared the information about educational needs and career guidance work with applicants with disabilities and health limitations at a medical university. The interaction of medical universities in the system of employment of persons with disabilities and health limitations was highlighted in the plenary report presented by the head of the Employment Center Kolchina Olesya Sergeevna.

As part of the conference, 6 breakout sessions were organized, including those in English. The topics of the sections were devoted to the methodological and theoretical foundations of inclusive education, career guidance and employment of people with disabilities and health limitations in the healthcare system, the labor market and social partnership, creating an accessible environment in educational institutions, social and labor integration of people with mental disabilities in the social and professional environment.

Speakers-heads of regional employment centers and career centers of Russian universities, experts in the field of career development, leaders in the field of domestic online recruitment spoke to the participants.

As part of the conference, career master classes were held.

During the master class “Labor Market Trends and Career Building in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution”, the speakers discussed labor market trends, introduced the participants to the basics of CV writing and described job search channels for people with health limitations. At the master class on remote interaction with children with health limitations, the presenters shared their experience in building communication with children and their parents.

The conference was attended by representatives from 11 countries of near and far abroad: Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Ireland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus. Also, the geography of the conference was represented by 36 cities of Russia: Astrakhan, Barnaul, Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kazan, Kemerovo, Kirov, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Kislovodsk, Kursk, Makhachkala, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, Penza, Pyatigorsk, Ryazan, St. Petersburg, Saratov, Stary Oskol, Smolensk, Stavropol, Tver, Tomsk, Tula, Ulyanovsk, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Chita, Yaroslavl.
