From November 27 to December 12, 2021, students of Kursk State Medical University took part in the International Esports Tournament among medical and pharmaceutical universities “Medical Workers Play Games Too-2”. The organizer of the competition was the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov. The tournament is held for the second time and this year it brought together about 700 future doctors from 30 medical universities of Russia and the CIS.
The main goal of holding Esport games is to organize leisure competitive activity in the online space, develop mass computer sports and create strong friendly ties between students of medical and pharmaceutical universities. The competitions were held in 5 disciplines: DOTA 2, CS:GO, Hearthstone, Hearthstone Battlegrounds, Brawl Stars.
The team of Kursk State Medical University decently represented our university, having taken third place in the team classification and first place in the Brawl Stars discipline.
