On March 2 and 3, 2022, 1st and 2nd year students of the International Medical Institute of KSMU visited the Anatomical Theater.
Visits to the anatomical museum of KSMU are an integral part of the educational process, and the preparations presented in the exposition may serve as a source of new empirical knowledge for students, a subject of scientific research within the framework of project activity. More than 500 exhibits are presented in the museum. The exposition begins with the section of embryology, which shows various stages of fetal development. Here you may see Siamese twins, various anomalies of fetal development.
The students were presented with exhibits of the digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular systems, brain and spinal cord. A human bone skeleton, joints, mummies, limbs, body fragments, internal organs are presented. The tour was conducted by L.M. Ryazaeva, Associate Professor of the Department of Human Anatomy.
Visit to the anatomical museum aroused keen interest among the students, since during their training they study Anatomy, and it was a great opportunity for them to study the exhibits presented at museum in more details. Such events motivate students to in-depth study of human anatomy.
