STUDENTS OF KSMU BECAME PRIZE-WINNERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIAD IN TASHKENT

The II International Online Olympiad of students of medical universities “Followers of Avicenna” was held on March 25, 2022 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). The platform for the implementation of the Olympic pharmacological movement was the Tashkent Medical Academy. This year, representatives of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries took part in the olympiad.

Students from leading universities competed in knowledge of fundamental and clinical disciplines. Kursk State Medical University was no exception. The “Pharmacology” section was attended by students of the 5th and 6th years of medical faculty. The student of the 25th group of the 6th year Khlyamov Stanislav Valerievich took the 2nd place (supervisor – Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Professor G.S. Mal). The Olympiad was held in order to monitor the quality of student preparation in the subject, attract students to master deeper and more solid knowledge, identify and support talented and gifted students, as well as to develop creative thinking.
