The Day of Sri Lanka National Culture in KSMU

On the occasion of visit of Her Excellency Professor Janitha A Liyanage, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation and on the eve of Cingalese and Tamil New Year of 09.04.22 a long-anticipated and unforgettable holiday was held – the Day of Sri Lanka National Culture “Sri Lankan night 2022”.
In the internationak congratulation with the New Year took part the following participants: Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Social Development and Public Relations, Associate Professor A.A. Kuznetsova, Director of the International Medical Institute, Associate Professor -M.T. Chahine, Deputy Director for Educational Activity – A.A.Krukovб Deputy Director for General Affairs of the International Medical Institute- T.F. Dremina as well as the staff and the foreigh students.
The holiday left the unforgettable and fabulous impressions in the hearts of all the quests. The concert turned out to be bright, rich and interesting. The strudents fron Sri Lanka united as a nation and were constantly prepairing in order to get the guests familiar with their cultural traditions, phenomenal body movements and the beauty of the performances.Absolutely different generes were presented: traditional folk dance, modern choreography and of course all were impressed by the musical band performance. The international congratulation with the Sri Lanka`s New Year was recieved from students of Russia, Nigeria, Thailand and Malaysia who ttook part in the concert.
The Day of National Culture of Sri Lanka was a sucсess! Thunderous applause, happy eyes and spiritual faces of the spectators, can prove this fact.
