On April 28, 2022, the IX ALL-Russian FORUM “PROFESSIONALLY ORIENTED VOLUNTEERING” will be held on the basis of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of the KSMU of the Ministry of Health of Russia: CURRENT STATE AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT”.
For more than fifteen years, Kursk State Medical University has been contributing to the development of the volunteer movement, a launching pad for the popularization of the volunteer movement in Kursk, motivation for participation in volunteer associations and the development of social partnership with educational and public organizations. Nawadays, the university has 30 professionally oriented volunteer groups, which involve more than 1,500 students. Since 2016, the Kursk Regional branch of the VOD “Medical Volunteers” has been operating on the basis of the KSMU. By the decision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of Russia, the Forum was included in the list of events of the Federal Innovation Platform implemented on the basis of KSMU. In 2021, the Forum was implemented as part of the All-Russian competition “Region of Good Deeds”.

Committee of Youth Policy of the Kursk region; Kursk regional branch of the All-Russian public movement “Medical Volunteers”; Resource Center of Volunteerism of the Kursk region.
The purpose of the Forum:discussion of current problems of the volunteer movement and exchange of experience in the organization, functioning,realization of volunteer projects.
In 2022, the Chairman of the All-Russian public movement “Medical Volunteers” Maria Sergeevna Yakunchikova will take part in the Forum.
Participants: students of the city’s schools who are just taking their first steps in volunteering, representatives of public volunteer organizations, representatives of volunteer detachments and professionally oriented detachments of KSMU and other universities of Russia.
The formats of the forum are a plenary session, working and educational platforms, a round table for the leaders of volunteer groups, the action “Good is always here”/.
