IX ALL-RUSSIAN FORUM “PROFESSIONALLY ORIENTED VOLUNTEERING: CURRENT STATE AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT”

On April 28, 2022 the IX All-Russian Forum “Professionally oriented Volunteering” was held at Kursk State Medical University: current state and prospects of development”.
An event was held at our university, which was attended not only by students of KSMU, but also by more than 170 schoolchildren of Kursk who want to become a part of volunteering and medicine, as well as participants from the Trans-Baikal Territory.
The beginning of the Forum was held in a warm atmosphere, which was attended by representatives of the university administration and honored guests, who in their speeches noted the significant contribution of KSMU volunteers to the development of the region.
Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and Innovative Development of KSMU, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Laboratory of Experimental Surgery and Oncology of the Research Institute of Experimental Medicine of KSMU, Vyacheslav Lipatov presented commemorative badges to the coordinators of the KSMU Covid Headquarters “For contribution to the fight against Covid-19”. Among the representatives of the university administration at the Forum was the adviser to the Rector’s Office, Head of the Department of Social Work and BDZ, Associate Professor Shulgina Tatiana Alekseevna. Denis Vladimirovich Sergienko, Deputy Chairman of the Health Committee of the Kursk Region, also made a welcoming speech. Maria Andreevna Kondrashova, Deputy Chairman of the Youth Policy Committee of the Kursk Region, thanked the volunteers for their significant contribution to the development of youth policy in the region and presented thanks to the activists. A significant contribution to the development of regional volunteerism and close cooperation was noted in the report of the deputy head of the “Resource Center of Volunteerism of the Kursk region” Alexandra Sergeevna Chudnova, after which thanks were presented to the volunteers of the Headquarters. The welcoming speech in the format of a video address was made by the chairman of the All-Russian public movement “Medical Volunteers” Maria Sergeevna Yakunchikova.
Alexey Yuryevich Gaponov, coordinator of the Kursk regional branch of the All-Russian Public Movement “Medical Volunteers”, assistant of the Federal accreditation Center of KSMU, Chairman of the Staff of volunteer detachments of KSMU Alexey Sergeevich Zadneprovsky, made their reports.
After the official part, schoolchildren together with students took part in the route game “The Road of Good”, where the leaders of volunteer detachments conducted interactive games in different directions, and held educational conversations, telling about the activities of the detachments. Many participants expressed their gratitude for the organization of the route game and the opportunity to take an active part in interactivity.
The next stage of the Forum was the holding of 6 educational platforms in the areas of activity of the KSMU Volunteer Detachments Headquarters:
– Professional orientation of schoolchildren at KSMU;
– “From idea to project”;
– Regional Department “Medical Volunteers”;
– Training platform “Exercises”;
– Accreditation Center%
– “Stress factor”.
The heads of the sites exchanged experience on the organization, functioning, and implementation of volunteer projects.
The final part of the Forum was devoted to the “Good is always here” field actions, which took place in the Kursk region.
