On July 12, 2022, the rector of KSMU, Professor V.A. Lazarenko, congratulated foreign students from Sri Lanka on winning the annual interuniversity cricket tournament under the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia.
Kursk State Medical University is the only Russian university accredited in Sri Lanka, which confirms the high level of trust in training of medical personnel for this country.
Over the past four years, foreign students of KSMU have taken first places in the cricket tournaments organized by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation. Students perfectly combine their achievements in sports with success in educational activity, which indicates their high level of motivation to lead a healthy lifestyle and actively participate in public life.
The students thanked Viktor Anatolyevich for the constant support of student initiatives and transferred the cup to KSMU History Museum.
