On October 13, clinicians from among the academic teaching staff of KSMU together with doctors of the “Expert” clinic held a visiting appointment at the Central Hospital of Cheremisinovsky District as part of a program to support district hospitals in conducting periodic health examination.
The list of the most demanded highly specialized doctors was agreed with the chief physician Vladimir Aleksandrovich Golovin. A neurologist, endocrinologist, endoscopist, cardiovascular surgeon, cardiologist, ultrasound specialist and a rheumatologist received patients at CDH. The specialists consulted more than 70 patients, some of them received referrals to hospitals in Kursk for further treatment.
Employees of clinical departments of KSMU regularly travel to district hospitals for examinations and consultations. Such visits make it possible to preserve the health of citizens, prevent the development of serious diseases and increase the availability of specialized medical care to residents of districts of the Kursk region.
