KSMU STUDENT – GOLD, SILVER AND BRONZE MEDALIST OF SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP IN RYAZAN

On October 20-22, 2022, the VI All-Russian Swimming Championship among medical and pharmaceutical universities of Russia was held in Ryazan. The championship was held in accordance with the approved Action Plan of the Ministry of Health of Russia for 2022. The main objectives of the Championship are:

  • strengthening sports ties among universities;
  • improving the quality of sportsmanship in universities;
  • involvement of students in regular swimming classes;
  • formation of a healthy lifestyle among students.

This year the Championship brought together 23 teams from medical and pharmaceutical universities of Russia. Ryazan State Medical University organized and held competitions at a high level, as always, welcoming all participants from different parts of Russia.

Kursk State Medical University was represented by students of the swimming team.

Nikolay Shcherbakov, a first-year student of the pediatric faculty, showed a brilliant result by winning gold at a distance of 100 m (complex swimming), silver at a distance of 50 m and bronze at a distance of 100 m (breaststroke swimming).

We congratulate all prize-winners of the Championship, and, of course, the student of our university with a deserved victory. We wish you health and new sports achievements!!!
