On November 17, 2022, in order to implement state interests in cultivation of fire safety culture among students and formation of public consciousness of foreign students in the field of fire safety, KSMU held a meeting of first-year foreign students with civil defence and fire prevention specialist of KSMU Volokhova N.V. and Head of the Administration for Economic Activity of KSMU Mustafayev D.V.
The issue of ensuring fire safety at the facilities used as hostels where students of educational institutions live is always under special control of the fire service staff.
It was noted that the hostel is a place of mass and night stay of people therefore it is very important to follow the fire safety rules there.
N.V. Volokhova told students about the causes of fires, rules of using primary fire extinguishing means, showed how to properly use fire extinguishers, familiarized them with the statistics of fires in Kursk. At the meeting, rules of behavior in case of a fire were discussed, and algorithm of evacuation was considered. Students were interested in this conversation, because it related to their personal safety.
During the meeting, video films on guidelines for using electrical appliances, sockets, extension cords and evacuation rules were demonstrated.
Knowledge and compliance with fire safety requirements is the main demand and wish of KSMU employees. Only in this case you will be able to protect yourself from the fire.
