On November 18, 2022, a remote meeting was held between the Director of the International Medical Institute of KSMU Associate Professor M.T. Chahine and representatives of the University of Moratuwa: Professor F.R. Fernando and the Dean of the Medical Faculty Professor Gamini Lanarolle.
The meeting was organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation: H.E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Professor Janitha A. Liyanage, Minister Counselor Mr. Chamila Jayarathna, Assistant Ambassador Mrs. Olesya Romanova, Assistant/Interpreter Ms. Yulia Belyaeva.
The issues of mutual cooperation and development of joint networked training programs were under discussion. The parties agreed to prepare the draft cooperation agreement and discuss it in the near future.
