During December 2022, Kursk Region Volleyball Cup among women’s teams was held in Kursk, in which 12 teams from Kursk and the Kursk Region took part.
Kursk State Medical University traditionally took part in these competitions. This year our girls won a victory over a national team of Kursk Primary Medical College in round of 16, and over Children’s and Youth Sports School from Kurchatov in quarter-final. In the game for reaching the final, the KSMU team met with its constant rival – the KSU women’s team – and won with a score of 3:1.
On December 26, 2022, KSMU hosted the final of the Kursk Region Volleyball Cup among women’s teams, where our team defeated the team of the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant with a score of 3:0.
The honor of our university was defended by: Malikova Anastasia, Stencheva Irina, Zaikina Anastasia, Bridnya Angelina, Kryazhkova Victoria, Dagaeva Daria, Balabina Maria, Artyushkova Anastasia, Azartsova Ulyana – Faculty of Medicine; Grishchenko Alexandra, Ivanova Maria, An Victoria – Faculty of Pediatrics; Malikova Maria – Faculty of Clinical Psychology; Korosteleva Anna, Valid Lilia, Ivanova Sofia – Faculty of Biotechnology.

The victory of our girls was an excellent completion of 2022, in which KSMU students showed high sports results and the will to win!!!
