On February 8, 2023, The Kursk State Medical University was attended by the delegation of the Republic of India headed by the Founder-Chancellor and Research Institute named after Dr. M.G.R., Armani Chokkalingam Shanmugam for a friendly visit.
During the visit Mr. A.C. Shanmugam had met the Rector of KSMU, Viktor Anatolyevich Lazarenko, and they were discussing the prospects for the development of cooperation in the fields of medical education, science and humanitarian cooperation.
The Indian delegation visited “Virtual (Imitation) Clinic” in KSMU and saw the latest equipment, which allows the students of KSMU to practice in providing emergency and urgent medical treatment.
The guests also visited the KSMU Museum and the Rare Book Museum, where they got acquainted with the exposition and items of the period of KSMU’s establishing.
The delegation thanked the Rector for warm welcome and interest in cooperation.
