On July 15, 2023, the teachers of the International Medical Institute of Kursk State Medical University, Ozerova E.N., Luneva M.K., and Shumakova A.M., conducted a comprehensive walking tour of the historical sites of the regional center “Kursk and its residents” for foreign students. Students from Malaysia, Botswana, Sri Lanka, and other countries had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the architectural beauty of the city and learn about the famous personalities of our region.
The excursion started at Perekalsky Square, where Kursk State Medical University and Kursk State Philharmonic are located. In front of the entrance to the Philharmonic, there is an alley of fame with busts of 4 famous locals who dedicated their lives to art. During the tour, students learned about famous residents of Kursk, and learned a lot of new information about the history of the city where they currently live and study.
