The International Students represent KSMU in the 15th International Folklore Festival “Samotsvety”

On September 23, 2023, IMI Indian students became laureates of the 15th International Folklore Festival “Samotsvety”, dedicated to the celebration of the 991st anniversary of the founding of the city of Kursk.
IMI KSMU students has become a participant not for the first time.
Folklore, choreographic groups, instrumental ensembles, soloists, performers of folk songs and dances, were invited to participate in the Festival.
At the end of the 15th International Folklore Festival “Samotsvety”, the participants were greeted and awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts.
“The audience welcomed us wonderfully when the choreographic group from India, KSMU, was announced, there was a burst of applause. Everyone shouted: ‘Well done!’ They personally thanked us and praised our performance, and asked to take photos together – it was a great joy for us,” noted Girish Nivedhya, a 5th-year student.
