On September 27, 2023, an extended meeting of the Permanent Council of the Russian-Chinese Association of Medical Universities (RCAMU) took place at the Museum of the History of Medicine of Sechenov University in Moscow.
Deputy Minister of Health RF, T.V. Semenova, and the Education Counselor of the Chinese Embassy RF, Mr. Cao Shihai, were present as honorary guests at the meeting.
Representing KSMU at the meeting was the Director of the International Medical Institute, Chahine Mohamad Toufic.
The participants summed up the work of the Association in 2022-2023 and discussed a new concept of cooperation for 2023-2024.
At the meeting, representatives of universities from Russia, China, Iran, Syria, and Kyrgyzstan signed a memorandum of intent to create the Eurasian Association of Life Sciences Universities.
