On May 21, 2024 representatives of KSMU visited the Innovation Center “Biryuch”, which is a part of the group of companies “EFCO” for coordination of joint research works and draft agreement on cooperation. The delegation consisted of employees of Research Institute of Experimental Medicine Obedkov Evgeny Gennadyevich, Denisov Artem Alexandrovich, Andreev Pavel Yuryevich, Nedosekin Rostislav Alexandrovich and Nikulochkina Victoria Alekseevna.
During the meeting a visit to innovative research laboratories was organized: biotechnology (Hi-Bio), plant proteins (Hi-Food), energy sources (Hi-Energy), transport of the future (Hi-Fly system), as well as workshops for the production of enzymes.
As a result, promising areas of scientific cooperation were agreed upon for the development and in vivo testing of food additives and biologically active substances for the needs of agriculture and medicine. Among other things, colleagues from the innovation center are interested in expanding the products manufactured by porous medical devices (sponges, membranes, matrices). At the end of the meeting, a draft agreement on scientific cooperation was agreed upon.
