On May 22 the meeting of Kursk regional branch of the All-Russian public organization “Russian Society of Historians of Medicine” (ROIM) was held.
According to the results of the meeting P.V. Tkachenko, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Normal Physiology of KSMU, was elected as the Chairman of KRO LLC “Russian Society of Historians of Medicine”.
The new composition of the Board of the Regional Branch of ROIM LLC was formed, which included: P.V. Tkachenko, N.A. Nikishina, I.I. Bobintsev, E.S. Kravtsova, A.V. Danilova, T.P. Isaenko.
The meeting decided:
To make a register of all monuments, memorial signs, steles, memorial plaques placed at the territory and in the buildings of Kursk State Medical University; to place this information at the official site of KSMU, at the Museum of KSMU history and to provide access to this information through QR codes.
To register all museums of Kursk State Medical University in the Register of medical museums created by the Council on development of historical-medical museums at the Ministry of Health of Russia.
To recommend the employees of the Museum of History, Anatomical Theatre, Museum-Book and people responsible for archives storage at the University departments to continue the formation of museum collections, to use digital technologies for demonstration of museum collections and organization of exhibitions devoted to the history of KSMU and the history of medicine in Kursk region.
