On October 15, 2024, an important agreement was signed in Bishkek, establishing the Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Medical Universities.
With the support of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Rector of Kursk State Medical University, Professor V.A. Lazarenko, was elected as the Chairman of the Consortium’s Board from the Russian side.
This agreement unites 7 leading medical universities in Russia and 18 universities in Kyrgyzstan.
Goals and objectives of the Consortium:
– Strengthening ties between Russia and Kyrgyzstan in the field of education.
– Improving the system of medical personnel training.
– Supporting integration processes in the scientific sphere.
Additionally, the consortium will focus on developing modern educational programs, implementing new methodologies, enhancing the skills of educators, and expanding academic mobility.
