For many students, this is a time to remember the traditions of their homeland and gather with family and friends. In the cultural context of the Iftar celebration, the atmosphere of joy and festivity is important, as well as the tradition of sharing happiness with those around. The celebration at KSMU hostel provided an excellent opportunity for students to come together and celebrate this holiday at a common table with pilaf and engaging conversation.
Many international students, being far from home, experience nostalgia and longing for their loved ones. However, events like Iftar help overcome these feelings.
