📅 One of the pre-New Year evenings, Malaysian students visited the Kursk State Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin. The events of the famous folk tale “Morozko” unfolded on stage.
The students listened to the sounds of ancient Slavic melodies, appreciated the beauty of the three-dimensional computer decorations, and paid special attention to the choreography of national dances.
👏 The performance conveyed messages of goodness and true love, immersing the students in the magic of the tale with authentically Russian motifs. Despite the challenges in understanding specific Russian words like “batyushka” (father), “matushka” (mother), “pogibel” (doom), “krovinka” (little blood), and archaic words like “khudo” (bad), “studeno” (cold), “zlato” (gold), the folk musical evoked vivid and exciting emotions in the audience. The performance served as a stepping stone in understanding Russian culture, traditions.
