ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE CONFERENCE “GENETIC ASPECTS OF MULTIFACTORIAL PATHOLOGY”

Dear colleagues, young scientists, students, residents and doctors!

We invite you to take part in the All-Russian scientific-practical conference with international participation “Genetic aspects of multifactorial pathology”, timed to the 80th anniversary and memory of the Russian scientist-geneticist, founder of the Kursk school of medical geneticists, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Vladimir Petrovich Ivanov on September 20, 2024 on the basis of Kursk State Medical University.

Within the framework of the conference the following issues will be discussed:

1. Recent achievements in the field of genetics and genomics of multifactorial diseases.

2. Modern omics technologies in deciphering the mechanisms of development and progression of multifactorial diseases.

3. Genetic testing of predisposition to multifactorial diseases. Polygenic risk scales.

4. Personalized approaches to treatment and prevention of multifactorial pathology. Advances in pharmacogenetics and pharmacogenomics.

The conference events will be held in a hybrid format using the Zoom platform.

All registered conference participants will receive an electronic personalized certificate. Conference materials will be placed in the public domain, registered and indexed in RSCI, posted in NEB (eLIBRARY), on the official website of the event and on the website of Kursk State Medical University.
