15th March 2024

✅   Dilila Perera, a graduate of IMI KSMU, a citizen of Sri Lanka, visited Kursk after taking part in the World Youth Festival. The main aim was to visit her alma mater!

✅   29-year-old Dilila Perera works as a general practitioner in a prestigious clinic in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. She received her IMI degree from Kursk State Medical University in 2021. During six years of studying, the girl has sincerely fallen in love with Kursk and the whole of Russia.

✅   When she heard about festival, she immediately applied to participate. It is a great chance to visit the country of her student youth again!

– These few festival days in Sochi were fantastic! I was very touched by the speech of Russian President Putin, who bequeathed to the youth of all countries to cherish peace! – says Dilila.

✅   “And how, being in Russia, not to visit my favorite university?” – thought the young Sri Lankan woman. Even though the travel time from Sochi to Kursk is about two days, the girl was determined to go!

Kursk State Medical University welcomed its alumna warmly. The management of the International Medical Institute organized a full-fledged excursion for her. For example, the anatomical theater: the excursion there became a special experience for the graduate!

❤ This positive girl with a white-toothed smile was childlike happy and generously shared her joy with others. She spoke with admiration about how much Russia and Russians are loved in her homeland. Often such love is born in Kursk State Medical University and spread by its graduates all over the world 🌍!
