The general meeting of the Association “Council of Rectors of Medical and Pharmaceutical Universities” was held on September 17, 2021 at the Museum of History of Medicine of Sechenov University
The main topics of the Association meeting, chaired by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Rector of the Sechenov University Peter Glybochko, are the key vectors of medical education and the results of the admissions campaign, the unity of universities and regions, vaccination and work in a pandemic of a new coronavirus infection, countering the ideology of terrorism at universities of the Russian Federation, participation of medical universities in the “Priority 2030” academic leadership program.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko, Deputy Minister of Health Tatiana Semenova, First Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Federation Committee on Social Policy Valery Ryazansky, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection Dmitry Morozov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science Gennady Onishchenko.
As a result of the meeting of the Association, Peter Glybochko noted that strength is in unity. A symbol of unity will be the entry into the Association of 30 Russian universities, which include medical faculties and institutes. “We are united, we work for the country!”, Peter Glybochko highlighted, finishing the meeting.
