On February 21, within the framework of the day of the Faculty of Biotechnology, a career guidance event was held with 4th year students of the Kursk Electromechanical Technical School, specialty “Electrochemical Production”.
The head of the laboratory of practical skills of physicochemical methods of analysis A.V. Kukurek held an interesting lecture with elements of practical work, at which the guys not only got acquainted with modern devices that are used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of medicinal substances and finished dosage forms, but also carried out spectrophotometric, coulometric determination of solutions of medicinal substances.
During the excursion to the graduating department of the Faculty of Biotechnology, the guests were introduced to the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process at the Faculty of Biotechnology in the areas of training 19.03.01 Biotechnology, 18.03.01 Chemical Technology and 19.04.01 Biotechnology (master’s level), about the spheres of professional activity of graduates and about graduates of the faculty.
