On September 22-23, a delegation from the Fergana Medical Institute of Public Health, consisting of the Vice-rector for Educatiuonal Work M.T. Botirov and the Dean of the International Faculty N.O. Khaidarova, visited our university. The members of the delegation met with the rector of KSMU V.A. Lazarenko. The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Educational Activity and General Affairs V.P. Gavrilyuk, Director of the International Medical Institute M.T. Chahine, head of the educational and methodological department A.I. Ovod.
During the visit, guests from Fergana visited the Multi-profile Accreditation and Simulation Center, where they got acquainted with the simulation equipment of various levels of realism, research laboratories of KSMU, and also took part in the opening of the bust of Archbishop St. Luke, the outstanding surgeon V.F. Voino-Yasenetsky. Together with the administration of the university, members of the delegation discussed current issues of international cooperation, the development of academic exchange of teachers and students, the implementation of networked learning. It is planned to open a representative office of KSMU in Fergana.
