At the enlarged meeting of the board of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko identified an important task facing the sector – digital transformation.

“The transition of medical organizations to electronic document management is today’s reality, and this stage is close to completion in some regions,” Mikhail Murashko said.

Kursk Medical University has been implementing digital transformation since 2020:

– In the consultative and diagnostic polyclinic of KSMU, a medical information system (MIS) has been introduced, which allows electronic recording of patients with the maintenance of digital records. At the end of 2021, the interaction of the MIS with the unified state healthcare system was established in terms of the transfer of electronic protocols for the treatment of patients and medical records with further display of information on the Gosuslugi portal, – said Rector Professor Viktor Anatolyevich Lazarenko. – And informatization concerned not only polyclinics, electronic services are introduced in all spheres of life of KSMU. Events in digital and remote format have long become a regular occurrence. The electronic departmental register, office of the registrar, personal account of the user and other services are an integral part of life of all employees and students of the university.
