On January 11, 2024 in Kursk State Medical University there was a meeting of foreign students of the 1st year of the 1st semester with the graduates of the 50th Anniversary Graduation of the International Medical Institute, studying in the specialty “Medicine”. The event, organized by the Department of Education of IMI, was attended by 160 freshmen, 19 students-excellent 6th year from different countries of the world: India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Brazil, Maldives, Nepal, as well as deputy heads of the Department of Education G.N. Goryainova and A.S. Nikiforova.
Graduate students invited to the meeting have achieved outstanding success in mastering medical sciences, and their credit books are dominated by excellent grades. Despite their busy preparation for the State Final Attestation, the 6th year students came to the meeting to share their experience of studying disciplines, mastering the material of each lesson, preparing for tests and exams. Special attention was paid to the issue of attendance of practical classes, mastering of practical skills. Senior students emphasized the importance of lectures for systematization of knowledge. In their speeches the graduates wished the 1st year students success in mastering medical skills, excellent and good grades in examinations. In conclusion, the graduates once again emphasized that determination, diligence and discipline are the main factors of success in mastering the art of medicine!
